Would most likely need to be rebuilt. i've always wanted to turbo, so maybe this would be a good time. the car would be used as a daily, dont want to go crazy as the stock gsr already felt quick with bolt ons, so my goal for the turbo build is 270hp to crank (233 whp) would be mostly on street.
Mp S B18c1 Build Need Help Team Integra Forums B18c1 rebuild build up. my b18c1 is coming close to 190,000 miles and i'm trying to decide what to do with it. it still runs fine but but i want a high performance engine that is reliable. option one is to buy a jdm b18c5 which i can get fairly cheap. option 2 is to rebuild the motor i have. An upgrade of the fuel injectors should be all you need, everything else will be fine. i've run my 12:1 b18c1 with the stock regulator, rail and pump for over 40,000 miles and everything's fine. in fact, my stock fuel pump and regulator have a grand total of almost 180,000 miles and are still going strong. 18185 posts · joined 2008. #1 · jul 31, 2010 (edited) well boys, i've been holding off till i swap but since i don't have a couple days to take off work to swap, i do have time to do this thread so i might as well let you all see how i rebuild a b18c1 i bought a couple months ago for $550. here she is. I was just looking up what a fel pro head gasket runs, and it seems like it's half the price of what i paid for my oem (of ebay at like $65 shipped) also ran across this madness: acura integra gsr 1 8l b18c1 vtec dohc full gasket set | ebay multi layered steel (mls) head gasket intake manifold gasket exhaust manifold gasket valve cover.
