The ending is straight up hanabi realizing her mistakes, growing up and moving on with her life. the manga kuzu no honkai decor. is kinda an epilogue volume that shows all characters a few years later. in this epilogue we see hanabi moving on with her life as a more mature person, the guy on the other hand is still struggling with his problems.
